Fastest Animals: Falcon, Cheetah, Sailfish

The peregrine falcon is widely regarded as the fastest animal on Earth. When diving to catch prey, it can reach speeds of over 240 mph (386 km/h), making it not only the fastest bird but also the fastest animal overall.

In terms of running speed, the cheetah holds the title for the fastest land animal, capable of reaching speeds up to 75 mph (120 km/h) in short bursts.

For aquatic animals, the sailfish is considered the fastest, swimming at speeds of up to 68 mph (110 km/h).
